Cookie Policy

Last updated: October 8, 2026

Effective Date: September 8, 2026

This policy lists every cookie and browser storage key Go Edit Photos uses, what each one is for, and how long it lasts. It expands on the cookies section of our Privacy Policy.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics that follow you across other websites. Everything below exists to keep you signed in, keep the site secure, or remember a preference you set.

1. Strictly Necessary

These cannot be switched off — without them you cannot sign in or submit a form safely.

Session cookie — identifies your signed-in session so the site knows which account is making each request. Expires when the session ends.
XSRF-TOKEN — protects every form and action against cross-site request forgery. Session length.
Cookie notice acknowledgement — remembers that you have seen the cookie banner so it is not shown on every page. Stored for 12 months.

2. Preferences

Stored in your browser's local storage, not sent to our servers. Clearing your browser data removes them.

Theme — whether you chose light or dark mode.
Guided tour flags — which walkthroughs in the client portal you have already seen, so they do not reopen every visit.

3. Third Parties

Two services set cookies of their own when you use them:

PayPal — only when you open the payment window, and only to complete the transaction and detect fraud. Governed by PayPal's own privacy policy.
Cloudflare — serves our images and protects the site from attack; it may set a security cookie identifying your connection, not you.

We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any advertising network.

4. Your Choices

Browser settings. Every browser lets you block or delete cookies. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will stop you from signing in.
Clearing preferences. Clearing your browser's site data for goeditphotos.com resets the theme and the tour flags, and the cookie notice will appear again.
Do Not Track. We do not track you across sites, so there is nothing for a Do Not Track signal to switch off.

5. Changes

If we ever add a cookie that is not on this list, we will update this page and show the notice again before it is set.
