Go Edit Photos ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over your data when you use our website and photo-editing services (the "Service").

a. Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, username, and a hashed password. For businesses, we may also collect company name and address.

b. Photos & Project Files

We collect images and related files that you upload for editing, along with your editing instructions and notes.

c. Payment Information

Payments are processed by third-party providers (GCash, PayPal, bank, or card processor). We store invoice records and transaction IDs, but we do not store full card numbers or banking credentials on our servers.

d. Usage & Technical Data

We log IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, referral URLs, and timestamps for security and analytics purposes.

e. Cookies

We use essential session cookies for login and functional cookies for preferences. Google Analytics may place analytics cookies to help us understand traffic.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, and deliver the Service you request.
• To communicate with you about orders, revisions, and support.
• To issue invoices and process payments.
• To improve our service, prevent fraud, and keep the platform secure.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Store & Protect Your Data

Uploaded files are stored in a secure Dropbox Business workspace and transferred over encrypted HTTPS connections. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms. Our database uses prepared statements and rate-limited access to help protect against common web attacks.

Completed project files are retained for 30 days after delivery, after which they are deleted unless you have an active subscription requiring longer retention.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Our editors and staff, strictly to perform the editing work you request.
• Payment processors, to complete transactions.
• Infrastructure providers (hosting, storage, email) bound by confidentiality.
• Law-enforcement agencies, when legally required.

5. Your Rights

You may at any time:

• Access or update your account information from your dashboard.
• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Request deletion of your account and associated files.
• Withdraw consent for marketing emails (essential service emails will still be sent).

6. Use of Your Images

You retain full ownership and copyright to all images you upload. We do not use your images for marketing, AI training, or portfolio display without your written permission.

7. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be announced via email or a notice on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
